Everybody knows that the main “engine” of this company is a tireless Nikolai Fomenko. Many consider it solely a showman, but largely it is due to Fomenko, the company is developing by leaps and bounds. And it’s not a joke. Two years ago at the Frankfurt Auto Show, we talked with Nicholas, and he started telling us some incredible things. That, they say, Marussia will open a production in Europe, to build a network of dealers, and will buy a Formula 1 team. Then we must confess, did not believe. Well, think of themselves – a small Russian company buys a “stable” in Formula 1 … Laughter, and only.

But look what happened. In the center of Moscow has been working the showroom of Marussia, the cars with the same name involved in the Grand Prix Formula 1, and the assembly of the Russian supercars  begins in Europe. However, while we are talking about the fact that Marussia will be doing only one company – the Finnish assembly production Valmet. Why was it decided to go to Europe? It turns out that it is both easier and cheaperto produce cars there! And, thanks to this plant, Marussia plans to sell about 1,000 cars next year! For the world of the supercars is a very decent number, especially for the young company.

However, Nikolai Fomenko hasn’t said what kind of engine will be designed for the European supercars. But it seems that the units of the British company Cosworth Nikolai Fomenko will be rejected. Most likely, Marussia will receive a new supplier of engines. The name of the developer of the power unit isn’t reported, but we already know the power of the power unit – 550 hp.
There is a couple of interesting news. For example, in May this year in Monte Carlo during the Monaco Grand Prix will open a new showroom Marussia. In 2013, in Europe will be seven showrooms!

The car is built in a single copy and “stuffing” it differs little from the closed counterpart. The power structure, many elements of the suspension, the tail and the interior are made of carbon fiber. 6.5 – liter V12 all of its 700 “horses” and 690 N • m of torque brings down on the asphalt in four – wheel drive power train that includes an automatic seven – speed gearbox.

The maximum speed of the mid – engine supercar – 300 km / h is without a helmet is just not enough. Especially because the windshield in the conventional sense is absent, there are only a couple of dwarf visors made of toned polycarbonate. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h Aventador J makes – 2.9 seconds.

By the way, Lamborghini Corporation announced its intention to soon return to the West European market, the stage of the negotiations between the company and the dealer has already passed, but what kind of dealer – it has not yet been reported.
P.S. The open Aventador J is built specifically for the Geneva Auto Show and it has the status of the conceptual innovations, however, despite this, the supercar  right from the stand went away with a hammer. According to the unofficial information, it had been sold for 2.2 million Euros.

It is clear Toyota has decided who to compete with: the main competitor – Mazda MX – 5, which for many years has had the title of the most sold roadster in the world. And Toyota has a good chance! In the case of the equal weight GT 86 has a more powerful engine. Its 2 – liter boxer develops 200 hp and the “atmospheric” of the Mazda Corporation gives the same amount of force 160. However, its popularity the model of the MX – 5 has earned not only by the sporting qualities, but also by the low price. In the West, the coupe Toyota GT 86 is more expensive than the open version of Mazda by around 2500 Euros. The roadster is likely to be even more expensive.

The concept of i-oniq is an electric sports hatchback with an optional gasoline engine. It is assumed that the car shows the latest vision of the designers and the engineers of the brand about the future of the car industry – corporate identity the “flowing lines” and a power plant under the name of “New”.
The length of the car – 4.4 m in spite of the fact that the i-oniq still has the status of the concept, the salon of the car is already prepared for the placement of four adults comfortably and all the controls are oriented toward the driver.  According to the company, the car is equipped with a high – tech equipment of the premium class. So the budget hatchback is not to be expected, if I-oniq comes to the production.
Not less comfort is provided for the rear seat passengers, which should enjoy relaxing salon. The interior of the car was “painted” inspired by the musical instruments. Such a decision should be contrasted with the sporty appearance of i-oniq.
The car is equipped with a 1 – liter 3 – cylinder gasoline engine that is combined with an electric engine which develops 109 hp. In this case the ICE will serve as a means of charging the generator which is powered by an electric engine. The car drives 120 km on one charge. When connected to a working gasoline engine the run increases up to 700 km.

After the reunification of Germany Melkus stopped making sports cars, and became a dealer of the BMW Company. However, many East Germans remembered the cars Melkus with nostalgia that prompted the son and the grandson of Heinz Melkusa – Peter and Sepp – to revive the brand. Unfortunately, Heinz himself could not take part in this project because he died in 2005.

The car Melkus RS2000 “lit up” for the first time in 2006, and three years later at the Frankfurt Auto Show has been demonstrated the pre – production prototype. The body of the car is painted in six layers of the black lacquer the interior is decorated with the black leather, in Alcantara and with the black polished wood inserts. In the front bumper there has appeared a carbon splitter, and on the sides of the body -carbon “skirts”. The capacity of the two – liter turbo engine in combination with which works the six – speed manual gearbox, is increased up to 325 hp. The first one hundred the 950 – pound Melkus RS2000 Black Edition travels in 4.5 seconds and the maximum speed makes 270 km / h. After all the improvements the price of the car has become completely exorbitant – 149,900 Euros or $ 195,600. In Germany, by the same price is Porsche 911 Turbo, but Lotus Elise can be bought several times cheaper. However, in contrast to them, Melkus RS2000 Black Edition will be a relatively rare car. However, like any other Melkus.

The first snapshot of the toy, allegedly representing the new generation of Viper, was published in the Brazilian site of the fans of the brand Hot Wheels. At the moment of the image appears in the Network its authenticity caused some doubts, but the portal Carscoop claims that the image corresponds to the reality and is contained in the official catalog of the Hot Wheels Company in 2012. In such a way, one more teaser campaign is close to the failure.

It is expected that the most powerful version of SRT Viper will receive an 8.4 – liter ten – cylinder engine with a block of cylinders made in the Chrysler Company and an injection system, developed at the Fiat Company.

It is noteworthy that the designers managed to retain the original front door opening mechanism – “gull wing”. At the same time the body has no center pillars and the rear miniature doors open against the course.
Although official confirmation of the fact that the Mercedes Company is indeed preparing a similar model to the production, not yet been received, the emergence of the superfast “four – door coupe” in the range of the German mark seems logical. This trend is now actively being explored by a lot of the luxury brand. The development of the Mercedes Company is likely to be the closest to the Aston Martin Rapide.

The expansion of the range of the two – door modifications of the Mercedes SLS in the meantime goes on. At the moment the versions of the “coupe” and “roadster” are being manufactured. Next year there will appear an electric SLS AMG E-Cell. Also the extreme modification of the Black Series is planned.

The transition to the turbo charging, the old engine with the volume of 6.3 liters was atmospheric, has been coupled with a lower weight that has given a reduction of the fuel consumption for the whole 30 per cent. The new roadster consumes only 9.9 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers and emits 231 grams of the carbon dioxide per one kilometer. As for the appearance of the car, the differences from the standard SL are small and are in the new bumper, another one is in the grille radiator, sills, “tail” spoiler and diffuser looking out a quartet of exhaust pipes.

The rear-wheel drive coupe is equipped with 8.3-liter, ten-cylinder engine with a mechanical supercharger. Its power is is equal to 820 liters and torque of 960 Nm.

The engine aggregated with manual transmission or seven-speed sequential transmission, which has the ability to change transmission by the under steering wheel petals. The car accelerates up to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and its top speed is 350 km / h.
In addition, the supercar got six-piston brakes from the AP Racing, carbon-ceramic discs, adjustable shock absorbers and 19-inch front wheel disks with Pirelli P Zero tires with dimension of 255/35, and 20-inch wheels on the rear axle with the tire dimension 335/30.

According to plans of the manufacturer, the model will be released in edition of 99 copies, and the first cars will be delivered to customers by the end of this year.

The premiere of the updated coupe-cabriolet Ferrari California will be held at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year. How exactly the changes affect the price is still unknown.
