It seems that Mercedes-Benz will begin selling a brand new model in 2012 – most likely it will be called CLS Shooting Brake and will be a universal car, based on the four-door coupe.
Why do the Germans produce such a model, is not quite clear. After all, they already have E-Class sedan in the range. But apparently, the marketers decided that buyers are ready to another unusual car, besides the new CLS Shooting Brake will have the image of a driver car, while the universal E class is first of all made taking into consideration primarily the practicality.
It is not excluded that the premiere of the pre-production versions of the new car will be held at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year and sales will begin in summer.
